Carlos Wagner
was born and brought up in Caracas, Venezuela.
He studied fine arts and dance in Barcelona, Spain and München, Germany. 
At the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, he completed a three-year acting diploma.

Korngold - (Covent Garden Festival/Muziektheater Transparant ). He also directed Wozzek by A.Berg in a masterclass on directing opera with Ruth Berghaus in Berlin.

Being fluent in German, Italian, Spanish, French and English he has also been commissioned to write singing translations of Tristan und Isolde by R. Wagner and Mefistofele by A. Boito for English National Opera.
